Can you help us establish James Patterson as a leading children’s author?

 

We’re looking for a Senior Campaigns Executive to specialize in the James Patterson children’s list.

 

Working with the Head of James Patterson Brand, the divisional Marketing Director and the wider Patterson team, the role will include:

 

  • Creating and managing campaigns on lead children’s series, working to a budget
  • Securing third-party brand and industry partnerships to develop James Patterson’s profile as a children’s author
  • Developing and managing the James Patterson Facebook and newsletter, including creating content
  • Extensive outreach to schools, libraries and high street bookshops
  • Liaising with the Penguin Random House Children’s Sales Team and other teams to grow sales and brand awareness
  • Contributing to the overall brand strategy for James Patterson

 

There’s also the opportunity to work on other children’s and YA titles within the Cornerstone division, as well as the adult James Patterson list.

 

We’re looking for a confident campaign planner (ideally across marketing and PR) with experience in children’s media and entertainment, particularly for the middle grade/8-12 age range.

 

You’ll need to have experience planning and running your own integrated campaigns, including traditional, digital & social media and events. You’ll be comfortable communicating with a wide range of people, whether that’s agencies and media, internal stakeholders, parents or children. You must be adept at working to multiple deadlines.

 

Most importantly, we want someone who’s not afraid to get stuck in and experiment with ideas to take the brand to new places.
