Do you get a kick out of helping people?

If you are highly organised and have a great attention to detail, becoming our new Sales Operations Coordinator could be right up your street.

A key part of your role will be to manage orders from our retail customers, and you’ll help by checking data such as stock availability and delivery dates, and working with colleagues in different departments, particularly Inventory Management and UK Sales to help deliver the best possible service to our customers.

Along with managing the process of orders and returns and the tracking of sales and marketing spend you will also act to provide support to Key Account Mangers with customer presentations and account administration.

One of the ways that’ you’ll do this is in producing analytics reports in Excel, and providing monthly and ad hoc sales figures using our in-house systems - Business Objects and Tableau. You’ll also use our invoicing system, Basware, to raise Purchase Orders and our presentation system ESK to produce PowerPoint presentations.

You’ll work across our Adult lists in this role – that means everything from fiction to non-fiction and books – playing a key part in getting our stories into our customers’ hands.

If that sounds like your kind of role, you’ll need to be organised, pro-active with some experience in a busy office.

You’ll be working with a lot of different systems, so while we’ll be happy to introduce you to our world and provide training, you’ll show us that you’re comfortable with technology and keen to learn.  You will need to have worked with MS Office before – Excel skills in particular.

Finally, you’ll be working with customers as well as a range of colleagues in this role, so being good with people, friendly and helpful will mean that you’re able to go the extra mile.

Please apply with a CV and covering letter by 23rd February
