If you like variety to your job, enjoy working in a busy environment and get a kick out of helping people, then becoming our new Sales Operations Coordinator could be right up your street.

In this role, you will be based at our offices at Vauxhall Bridge Road, but working with the mindset of being part of the wider Sales Operations teams. You will have dedicated responsibility for particular accounts and a key part of your role will be to manage the processing of orders, the tracking of sales and spend, sorting invoices as well as checking data such as stock availability and delivery dates, and working with colleagues in different departments, particularly Inventory Management and UK Sales Teams to help deliver the best possible service to our customers.

You’ll also produce reports in Excel, and provide monthly and ad hoc sales figures using our in-house systems, Business Objects, and Bookscan. You’ll also use our invoicing system, Basware to raise Purchase Orders and our presentation system ESK to produce PowerPoint presentations.

You’ll work across four publishing houses covering mainly Adult lists in this role – that means everything from Mary Berry and James Patterson to Paula Hawkins and Yuval Noah Harari – playing a key part in getting our books into our customers’ hands.

If that sounds like your kind of role, you’ll need to be organised and pro-active with some experience in a busy office. You’ll be working with a lot of different systems, so while we’ll be happy to introduce you to our world and provide training, you’ll show us that you’re comfortable with technology and keen to learn.  You will need to have worked with MS Office before – Excel skills in particular.

Finally, you’ll be working with customers as well as a range of colleagues in this role, so being good with people, friendly and helpful will mean that you’re able to go the extra mile.

Please apply with a CV and covering letter by Friday 4th August. Any early applications may be prioritised.
