Are you a creative marketer who can formulate effective campaigns for some of the world’s best authors?

We have an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to create audience-driven campaigns as part of a large marketing team who love to share ideas and our love of books. At Transworld we publish bestselling crime, fiction and non-fiction including Shari Lapena, Kate Atkinson and Bill Bryson.

You’ll hit the ground running, able to speak with confidence to internal staff, authors and agents. You’ll work with booksellers to connect our books to their readers.

Combining your creativity with digital skills, you’ll manage digital campaigns, creating and delivering content plans and carrying out post-campaign analysis to make sure your work is effective.

You’ll use our consumer insight to ensure each campaign lands with the audience, and you’ll support senior members of the team on brand campaigns. You’ll be setting up Facebook advertising and digital campaigns, and creating newsletters for our brand authors too.

You’ll also have a knack for social media, not just understanding how it works, but what makes people engage. You’ll be at ease creating social strategies working closely with our authors to drive book pre-orders.

You might have Photoshop training, but most important is an eye for design. You’ll have knowledge of the wider market and how to make social media impactful.

We offer you support to bring your best to the team, with training provided to enhance your skills. We are part of Penguin Random House with all of the career opportunities that come with being part of a large organisation and all of the benefits of being in a small, distinct and successful part of that organisation.

With a minimum of 1-2 years of marketing experience, you might be an assistant looking for your next step, or looking to develop at one of the most successful publishers in the industry. (Our current offices are based in Ealing and will be moving to zone 1 central London in 2020)

Please apply with your CV and cover letter no later than 28 March 2019.
