Are you the admin in all your WhatsApp groups, the person who arranges the get-togethers, and makes sure everyone’s in the right place at the right time? What if you could use these skills at work?

Well, we might just have the thing for you. We’re looking for a Learning and Development Assistant.

A small, but busy team, we partner with teams across Penguin Random House to create training and development programmes to help our people to grow and meet their potential.

Reporting to the L&D Partner, the L&D Assistant is the glue that keeps everything running smoothly:  organising all our training courses, and managing the inbox, being the first point of contact for all queries.

We’ve always got lots of projects on the go, so using your judgement to plan ahead and prioritise will be key to keeping everything on track.

You’ll work with people from all departments , managing requests and collecting their feedback to make sure our courses are the best they can be. You’ll also get to know our training providers, making sure they have everything they need, and booking dates in the diary.

We’re not looking for publishing or HR experience, you can learn that as you go.

What we’re after is someone willing to get stuck in, top organisational skills, and a willingness to learn. So that we can continue to create the best learning opportunities and events for our employees.

Please apply with a CV and Covering Letter by the 23rd August

We partner with The Book Trade Charity who offer financial support to people looking to enter the book trade but who may struggle to afford the costs of attending interviews and undertaking internships. For more information visit www.booktradeentrysupport.org.
