Can you keep things running like clockwork?

Our Group Publishing Operations team is looking for an Inventory Coordinator to join them on a temporary FTC basis until March 2019.

Joining us at a busy time, you’ll be supporting our Inventory team to process customer orders specifically for direct deliveries – this is where our customers receive their orders directly from our printers.  Working with our third party printers, and using our various internal systems (both bibliographic and invoicing) your role will be to make sure things are running smoothly with our direct delivery customer orders.

Your day-to-day will be busy and fast-paced but with plenty of variety. You’ll coordinate the order process, from recording details onto our systems, to raising PO numbers and keeping an eye on stock levels.

You’ll also be working with colleagues in our customer and credit services teams to make sure that we’re invoicing our customers with the right details. You’ll also work with our sales teams to field any queries that have come through from retailers as well as dealing with queries that may have come through directly to our printers.

If that sounds like your kind of role, you’ll need to be organised, pro-active with some experience in a busy office. You’ll be working with a lot of different systems, so while we’ll be happy to introduce you to our world and provide training, you’ll show us that you’re comfortable with technology and keen to learn. Having a hawk-like attention to detail, and being good with numbers is also something we’re looking for.

Finally, you’ll be working with customers as well as a range of colleagues in this role, so being good with people, friendly and helpful will mean that you’re able to go the extra mile.

Please apply with a CV and covering letter by Thursday 27th September.

Salary: £23,000
