Do you have a head for logistics and are looking for your next challenge?

If so, you could be the perfect fit for our Inventory Controller vacancy.

You will be the main point of contact with our external suppliers and planning and prioritising work to ensure we meet required delivery dates.  Tasks can range from raising purchase orders for all Point of Sale material in to the warehouse to analysing and maintaining data.

The information that you maintain within our records will then be used to drive a monthly reconciliation of supplier invoices, so your ability to work quickly but also carefully is critical.

You will be managing the end to end Value Added process within the Distribution Centre and 3rd parties as well as liaising with sales, marketing, warehouse and inventory management to achieve our business objectives.

As this is a logistics role, previous experience of working in logistics or distribution is a must.

We’re looking for a team player with excellent communication skills, able to analyse problems, create solutions and multi-task whilst maintaining attention to detail. You must be able to demonstrate a high level of competency with Excel, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes. A proven ability to influence process change is also highly desirable.

We love what we do, so knowledge of publishing and an interest in stories would be an advantage, along with experience of Biblio and SAP systems.

If you think you fit the bill, please apply with a CV and Covering Letter by Monday 26th February.

We partner with The Book Trade Charity who offer financial support to people looking to enter the book trade but who may struggle to afford the costs of attending interviews and undertaking internships. For more information visit www.booktradeentrysupport.org
