Location: London, LND, GB, SW1V 2SA

Year: 2018

Company: The Random House Group Limited

Requisition ID: 26727

VINTAGE is made up of all kinds of people, but what connects us is our love of books. We are looking for a self-starting, driven, highly-creative Campaigns Manager to join our team.

Reporting to the Brand Director, you will work with high-profile VINTAGE authors, agents and stakeholders to execute outstanding campaigns that have a direct impact on sales of VINTAGE Classics and catalogue (backlist) titles. With a deep understanding of the Classics reader, and a passion for Classics yourself, you will be aware of all the touch points at which they might engage with the VINTAGE brand, both online and offline.

You will look outwards for special project opportunities such as brand partnership opportunities. Working closely with the Classics editorial team, you will have input on acquisitions and publishing strategy. Film tie-in editions are also in your remit and you will lead on all campaigns for this area of our publishing.

With at least 2 years of experience managing marketing and / or publicity campaigns, you are a fast learner, able to manage multiple projects, identify audiences and understand how best to reach them through targeted marketing and publicity campaign outreach. There is scope for this to be a Senior Campaigns Manager role depending on the level of experience you have.

Although you don’t necessarily come from a publishing background, you are a fanatical book lover, an avid reader, and a bookshop regular. Excellent copywriting, communication skills, and a passion for good design are essential.

If this sounds like you, apply with a CV and cover letter by 25th November.
