Our Technology team are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Support Analyst.

 

You’ll provide Level 2 support for the business under the remit of the BI team and will be responsible for managing incidents and requests and supporting new developments and enhancements through the testing and release process.

 

This role will require shift coverage via a rotating daily rota throughout the hours of 8am-6pm, Monday to Friday. This will also include occasional weekend and evening on-call coverage.

 

 As BI Support Analyst, your main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing incidents and service requests for all services supported by the team through to resolution, with support of the BI team.
  • Providing a quality, reliable and timely support service delivering to the agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
  • Working with cross-functional teams to resolve on-going technical issues.
  • Producing and maintaining technical support guides, service catalogue & other relevant documentation.
  • Performing daily, monthly and periodic application, system and data checks, and taking appropriate action in optimising system uptime and deliver outputs in a timely manner.
  • Working with technology teams as necessary to communicate any systems/software upgrades and patches, diagnosing any application or system issues.
  • Managing any changes through the Change Management process.
  • Represent the support team on project working groups to provide technical and application knowledge and guidance.
  • Responsible for data analysis, mapping and reconciliation of internal/external sources of data.
  • This role will also require occasional data processing and providing support within a Virtual Team managing data availability to the business and contribute to ongoing quality control and assurance measures of external retailer data.

 

To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record of BI technical proficiency. You’ll be broadly skilled in information and communications technology and will have a comprehensive knowledge of relevant development lifecycles and the environment in which they operate. An eye for detail and an analytical and creative approach to problem solving will be essential.

 

You will also have the following technical skills: SQL experience, MS SQL server, Business Objects, Tableau, Service Now. It will be desirable to have: experience of working within an ITIL environment, SSIS, Python Scripting, Power BI, ITIL V3 Foundation qualification.
