We’re on the lookout for an HR Advisor to join the team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract basis. As HR Advisor in part of the Distribution HR team, this role will be the first point of contact for Grantham and Rushden sites and provide full HR support to the teams. The HR Advisor will report into the HR Manager and be involved in a variety of tasks, including Employee Relations, compensation and talent management. 


You will support individuals and management based across the two sites. We’re looking for an HR Advisor who can thrive in their role by promoting a pro-active approach and someone who pays attention to the detail. This role will cover all areas of HR resulting in a great opportunity to get exposure to different viewpoints across the whole business.


Experience required:

  • Exposure to dealing with a variety of HR elements. Including, but not limited to disciplinary, grievances, parental leave and other sensitive HR areas of responsibility.
  • Motivation to develop and ability to build relationships across the business areas.
  • Familiar with HRIS systems beneficial, but not essential
  • CIPD qualification is also beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
