Rights Administrator (3-month FTC)

As a Rights Administrator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our royalty system. This position requires excellent attention to detail, a flexible working approach, and strong team-working skills. This is a fixed-term opportunity for 3 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn various aspects of rights processing for data cleansing purposes, including:
- Processing daily cash receipts in the royalty system.
- Investigating unidentified cash receipts and allocating them to the correct contract or department.
- Liaising with payees and internal departments regarding the collection and processing of sub-right monies due/received.
- Inputting earned royalty statements received without payment and ensuring the system is set up to chase for the payment.
- Inputting unearned royalty statements received.
- Administering the team email account, saving department documentation, and resolving and routing queries as appropriate.
- Regular portal administration and maintenance of territory procedures.
- Rights Accounting Assistance: Support other areas of rights accounting, including:
- Working with the Credit Services department to review unallocated cash sitting on accounts.
- Chasing licensees for outstanding statements and payments due.
- Performing other ad-hoc work as necessary.
What you will bring:
Essential:
- A strong administrative background.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Excellent numerical skills. Always works to a high standard of accuracy with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to build strong relationships with other parts of the business.
Desired:
- Experience in royalty processing or another high-volume transaction business area where accuracy is essential.

Salary: Up to £24,500 depending on how your skills and experience align to the role, plus bonus and benefits.
