Accounts Payable Clerk, Finance

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing Finance team in Frating on a permanent basis. Based at the main distribution centre, you will work within the growing Accounting Services team to provide key support in this pivotal role.


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Controlling all transactions associated with procurement of services
  • Effectively manage and control the data flows
  • Maintaining supplier’s accounts on various SAP systems, ensuring invoices are paid promptly
  • Reconciling the supplier’s statement to the ledger
  • Account management: chasing up authorisation for invoices and minimising debit balances across the ledger
  • General administrative and financial duties as required


This role will suit someone who is team focused and self-motivated. You will be confident working in a larger team whilst also completing your own projects to a consistently high standard to meet deadlines. Your attention to detail and ability to process high levels of data will be second to none, alongside a disciplined and structured approach to planning and organising your workload.


Ideally you will possess strong IT and systems skills and will be a fast and determined learner. Experience within a similar setting would be beneficial, but is not essential.
