We have an exciting opportunity for a talented Designer to join our Children’s Campaigns team in Sydney.
The Designer is responsible for translating creative briefs into compelling, high-quality design solutions that drive sales and increase brand awareness of Penguin Randon House Children’s marketing and publicity campaigns. This role involves campaign development from early-stage concept through to final execution. This includes pitching support, creative asset development across print and digital channels, and high-volume production delivery within fast-paced campaign timelines.
We’re looking for someone who has strong creative judgement, commercial awareness and a clear understanding of the target audience to ensure all output is engaging, strategic and brand-aligned. The successful candidate will be creative, agile and collaborative and will thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with multiple stakeholders.
Qualifications and experience required:
- Tertiary qualifications in Graphic Design or a related discipline
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a similar design role
- Experience in branding, FMCG, advertising or design agency experience
- Demonstrated experience managing standalone projects from concept through to final production across print, digital advertising and point-of-sale material
- Advanced proficiency of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint)
- Strong ability to interpret briefs and deliver creative solutions aligned to strategic objectives
- Confident presenting and communicating creative concepts to stakeholders across the business
