Credit and Cash manager (m/f)

 

 

 

As part of the Corporate Finance Team and reporting to the Vice President Treasury, the job holder is responsible for the Company’s collection process. In this context he/she takes charge of the entire Order-to-Cash process, from the opening of the customer account to out-of-court litigation, with a view to securing and reducing customer risk and to improving liquidity positions by reducing our global working capital.

 

Main responsibilities

  • Audit our current cash collection and existing guidelines
  • Build and develop a global credit management policy with a local application
  • Monitor the accounts receivables with our sales team and optimize our cash position
  • Report on cash collection actuals and forecasts using existing cash forecasting tools and tools to be created
  • Create, drive and stimulate credit management committees 
  • Ensure the proper distribution of information
  • Assess the need for credit insurance
  • Perform credit analysis on our customers and prospects for the benefit of the sales team
  • Monitor credit risk
  • Set provisions for bad debt


Competencies and professional background

  • At least 6-8 years of experience including 5 years in credit management in an international context
  • Treasury and/or controlling experience is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, any other language is a strong asset (Spanish, German, French)
  • Interest in frequent international business trips
  • Strong Excel skills and ideally knowledge of SAP
  • Being a team player with “hands-on” mentality and by adopting a proactive approach towards day-to-day handling of subsidiary companies
  • High sense of responsibility, great commitment, high flexibility, high confidentiality
  • Self-motivated and results driven with a proven ability to work independently
  • Highly organized and proactive, with excellent skills to handle multiple tasks, creative
  • Ability to adapt and operate in an international environment
  • Leadership and influence capabilities within cross-functional teams.
