Are you passionate about the world of publishing and pop culture? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment where your organisational skills can truly shine?
DK+, known for partnering with iconic brands such as LEGO, Disney, Minecraft, Crunchyroll, Pokémon, and Marvel, is seeking an ambitious Sales Material & Jackets Coordinator to join our team and help create bestselling books for dedicated fans.
As the Sales Material & Jackets Coordinator, you will coordinate sales materials and ensure our projects run smoothly from concept to publication. You will collaborate closely with the UK, US, and International Sales teams to track and manage all DK+ sales materials, including sales copy, presentation spreads, metadata, onix feeds, sales catalogues, and Amazon assets.
You will prepare slides for global book fairs and internal presentations, ensuring that all cover designs, book specifications and copy are finalised and accurate. Your organisational skills will be crucial as you maintain sales deadlines and ensure the timely delivery of materials through close collaboration with the editors and designers.
You will take the lead in organising and maintaining sales material trackers, coordinating physical and digital material for book fairs, and facilitating internal sales material review meetings to keep everyone aligned. In addition, you will manage our ebook approvals and update our publishing programmes for our brand partners.
To succeed in this role, you should have proven administrative office experience, ideally within book publishing. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with internal teams and our external brand partners. This is a pivotal role in the team and we’re looking for a team player who thrives under pressure, balancing competing priorities while maintaining a keen attention to detail. Adaptability and flexibility are key, as you will need to respond to changing requirements and project needs. Proficiency in IT tools such as Google Suite and Excel will be vital in managing your tasks effectively.
A genuine interest in pop culture - whether it’s anime, films, television, comics, music, toys, or tabletop games - will be a great asset in this role, although it is not essential. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to step into publishing and make a meaningful impact. If successful, you will join a talented creative team that supports your on-the-job learning, development, and wider training needs. You will also have the opportunity to take on editorial tasks and attend weekly meetings with the editors.
