Job Description
Hera and August Books (Canelo Group) - Publishing Coordinator

We are seeking a Publishing Coordinator to provide essential administrative and operational support to the Hera and August imprints. This is a detail-oriented role focused on ensuring the smooth running of the publishing process.

You will act as a central point of contact between commissioning editors and the wider business, including production, sales, and editorial teams.

  • Administrative tasks, such as processing invoices for freelancers,  meeting minutes and expenses.

  • Maintaining and updating title information on Biblio and managing editorial workflows in Asana.

  • Handling rights, permissions and picture research.

This role is ideal for a highly organised individual who enjoys administrative challenges and streamlining processes. While prior publishing experience is not required, we are looking for someone who is:

  • Able to balance competing deadlines and prioritize effectively.

  • Comfortable liaising with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
