
Are you an experienced detail-oriented Rights Sales Assistant with a customer-focused background seeking a new challenge? DK is looking for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join our International Rights team.
This exciting role involves working closely with the Rights Team to field varied queries from our international partners, as well as supporting the team with sales and feedback analysis following book fairs, testing systems when new developments are released and liaising with other departments throughout DK. You will collaborate with Editorial, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams, and have an opportunity to connect with top foreign publishers. Additionally, you will support and liaise with Production to ensure the smooth running of projects.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Assisting the sales team across various territories as needed to provide support to our international customers.

Collating and preparing data for PowerPoint presentations including for book fair feedback

Liaising with the central technology team to co-ordinate systems testing for One Biblio
-
Proactively solving problems and answer questions about files, schedules, processes, and feedback from editors and translators.

Supporting administrative duties, including drafting contracts and invoicing).

Ensuring smooth printing processes and adherence to budget by working closely with production colleagues.

Monitoring relevant systems, ensuring all information and dates are current, and generating necessary reports.

Working with Sales Operations and Creative teams for deal or translation approvals and title updates.
This busy role is ideal for a solution focused self-starter who can meet tight deadlines, multitask, and stay proactive. Key requirements include:

Previous experience of working in a customer service role

Proven administrative experience with strong attention to detail and positive can-do attitude

Knowledge of the Virtual Sales One Biblio System
-
Ability to pick up and use new systems quickly and effectively as well as looking at new ways of using existing systems more effectively.

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
