Alliant University is one of BEG’s portfolio companies. Located in San Diego, San Francisco and Los Angeles; Alliant University focuses mostly on graduate education, especially in the field of psychology.

 

As an intern, you will work directly with Alliant’s CFO. For this challenging task, we are looking for highly motivated and well-qualified interns for our San Diego-based team.

 

Your tasks

As an intern at Alliant University you will:

  • Help to build, maintain and automate company financial models in a fast paced environment
  • Support FP&A Managers in providing meaningful and informative analysis explaining variances of business results from the financial plan
  • Maintain KPIs and product line dashboards
  • Support in the preparation of periodical management reports
  • Take ownership of ad hoc special projects

 

Your profile

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Junior or Senior college level, pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related major
  • Possess an excellent academic record
  • Solid analytical skills and very good business knowledge
  • Ideally practical experience in the fields of strategy or finance, mergers and acquisitions or controlling
  • Resilience, drive and the ability to work well in teams; willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, and ideally financial modeling experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

 

This will be a four to six month internship.
