We are the Corporate HR Strategy & Systems team in Bertelsmann’s headquarter office in Gütersloh. We develop strategic approaches for the advancement of Bertelsmann’s HR func-tion across all divisions. We digitize Bertelsmann’s HR processes, develop and operate our global Cloud HR IT platforms. We are seeking to add a 
(Senior) Expert Global People Analytics & Reporting (m/f/d)
(permanent) part-time or full-time, based in Guetersloh, Germany / mobile office

 

Your tasks include

 

  • Design and build the global People Analytics offerings for Bertelsmann and its divisions. As part of the team that owns and manages Bertelsmann’s global Cloud HR IT platform (SAP SuccesFactors), you will develop the target landscape of scorecards and KPIs of Bertelsmann’s People Analytics, define the required data and systems architectures, and bring them to life. You will partner with the rest of the team while maintaining a level of autonomy and ownership over the project
  • Strengthen the strategic importance and visibility of HR data and information within Ber-telsmann and across all businesses and countries. To do so, you will identify and con-struct the necessary foundational data 
  • Create and deliver the right People Analytics products for key stakeholders on both cor-porate as well as divisional level
  • Take the lead of Bertelsmann’s global HR Reporting and be responsible for taking it a step further by championing the preparation for future ESG Reporting requirements
  • Guide and help our international businesses to work successfully with new insights from people data; build out our global internal People Analytics expert community; identify, create and work on group-wide People Analytics projects
  • Support other corporate functions of Bertelsmann with your expertise 
     

Your profile

 

  • You love working with large data sets and thrive in finding solutions and insights through analytics
  • You have a degree in Social Science, (I/O)Psychology, Business Administration, Eco-nomics, (Business) Information Systems, Mathematics or related fields of study with a strong focus on statistics and quantitative methods 
  • You have already gathered relevant working experience in data analytics, preferably People Analytics (e.g. in workforce planning, HR strategy consulting, data science). Your knowledge and aspirations go beyond the crunching of numbers: you want to create structures and products that last and deliver strategic value
  • Your desire to create comes together with strong conceptual and analytical skills. Cus-tomer needs are at the center of your attention and you are able to communicate effec-tively and to moderate diverse stakeholder groups (preferably in English and German)
  • You have a passion for learning new things and are a self-starter of new initiatives and personal development opportunities
  • You are familiar with statistics tools (e.g. R, SPSS, Python) and of course the MS Office suite (especially MS Excel and MS Powerpoint)
  • Solid knowledge of Visualization and BI Tools like MS PowerBI, Tableau or QLikview. You can navigate the tech market for identifying the right tools for the tasks at hand and those to come
  • Prior experience with Cloud HR IT systems like SAP SuccessFactors or Workday and familiarity with their reporting and analytics features and data retrieval process are a plus
