We are looking for a Sales & Licensing Manager (m/f/x) for our COUNTDOWN MEDIA Team

Countdown Media is a Hamburg-based music company. We are specialized in licensing an extensive catalogues of master recordings into all media, worldwide. The Countdown Media catalogues comprise music of all genres, from pop to classical, latin to children’s music. Countdown Media is a subsidiary of new music company BMG.

Your Mission

  • As a pro-active relationship manager you will be in charge of promoting Countdown Media to clients via phone, mail, in person and via our online platform www.countdownmedia.com
  • Your clients are labels, playlist curators, music supervisors, film production companies, advertising agencies and special product companies
  • Your clients will be in North America and in Europe
  • Your mission is to connect with new and existing clients, developing relationships to the next level and being truly service and sales orientated: problem solving and finding the best music for their needs, every time. Beyond that, you have impeccable administration skills and always follow up: never afraid to go that extra mile to close a deal
  • You have the ability to promote a backlist catalogue with decades of music from all genres, from pop to classical
  • You are resourceful and will stay up to date with industry news – you read, watch and listen out for the playlist trends, campaigns, television programs and films

 

Your Profile

  • You have proven experience in sales and it’s a plus if you have had commercial experience in the music/media industry. A passion for music is a must!
  • Your German and English skills are excellent, both spoken and written
  • You are results-driven, curious and think in solutions. You are also extremely persuasive and not afraid to negotiate to get the deal over the line
  • You are a positive and independent social being who is highly flexible and who has the guts to get things done
