Your Mission at BMG

Your primary mission is analyzing digital and social media platforms for relevant artists in Latin America. You will also assist with chart research for relevant artists in Latin America and event research for our select label Trojan Jamaica. Additional responsibilities will include researching charting titles, data entry, country ranking and developing digital marketing campaigns.  

 

Your Profile

  • You have an interest in music publishing and marketing
  • You have familiarity with a variety of music genres and digital audio file formats, specifically Latin American and Jamaican Music
  • You are comfortable working in a team and are a self-starter. 
  • Your time management skills allow you to meet deadlines easily. 
  • You have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to track and follow through on multiple concurrent projects to completion.
  • Speaking Spanish is a plus

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Analyze digital platforms for relevant artists in Latin America
  • Analyze social media platforms for relevant artists in Latin America
  • Research and identify top genres for those artists
  • Assist with charts (Soundscan/Billboard) research and data entry
  • Create country rankings within the territory and globally
  • Find the proper festivals and other events for some of our select labels (i.e. Trojan Jamaica)
  • Create a variety of music playlists and samplers
  • Develop digital marketing campaigns

 

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communications or Marketing
  • Basic understanding of Social Media and Marketing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and Excel
