Manager, Brand Partnerships


Your Mission at BMG 

Your primary mission is to identify partnership opportunities for our diverse roster of artists. You will work with the team to create pitch materials, define deliverables, and shepherd projects from ideation to implementation.  You will be part project manager, part deal maker, and a key part of BMG’s growing global Partnerships team.


Your Profile

  • You have a passion for music.
  • You have a natural interest in brand partnerships, activations and brand marketing campaigns.
  • You have experience working with artists, marketing campaigns, or media sales.
  • You will have a good network of music media and marketing partners (particularly in Nashville) and are comfortable working directly with artist management teams. 
  • You enjoy working in a team and as a self-starter, and thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • You have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to track and follow through on multiple concurrent projects to completion.  
  • You are a strong communicator and writer, comfortable at distilling project info into concise reports.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work with the team on pitching artists across BMG recorded and publishing roster to maximize exposure and potential brand partnership opportunities.
  • Manage workflow from the research and pitch stage to the execution of deliverables for partnership activations.
  • Research and develop new brand targets and relationships while maintaining contact with current clients.
  • Keep apprised of new music partnership initiatives and trends with current clients and new prospects feeding intel into wider team.
  • Create pitch materials including proposals, decks, one-sheets and sizzle reels for internal updates and for external new business outreach.
  • Work with artist managers and internal marketing teams to ensure deliverables are fulfilled including social media posts, event activations, marketing tie-ins, photo opportunities, tickets, meet and greets, etc. 
  • Track KPI’s for brand campaigns and create timely wrap reports when campaigns are completed to share with brand or agency to ensure direct benefits were received.
  • Maintain, organize and update internal database of artist information for pitching purposes.
  • Attend label marketing and A&R status meetings, be the team rep at concerts and industry events.



  • Experience working at a record label, agency, radio network, creative studio or similar media company in a marketing, creative or sales role.  
  • A solid understanding of the music industry and how music-focused brand activations work. You have your finger on the pulse of what’s hot in music and what brands are moving the needle.
  • Ability to create impeccable marketing assets and presentations.
  • Superb written and verbal communications skills and an always can-do attitude
  • Strong organizational, administrative and analytical skills.
  • Direct experience with music licensing or partnership deal making a plus.
