Your Work at BMG

The relationships between BMG's Production Music department and our clients and composers are fundamentally cultivated through sound.  We work to collaborate with our clients to deliver the music they need - when they need it.

This full-service sound agency is sculpting a new way to connect with clients. We know each one of them is different, and we tailor every interaction to fit their specific demands.

 

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, charismatic music license lover to join the team as Director of Creative & Business

Development.

 

You will need experience and well-built relationships in the world of music licensing in at least one of the following verticals:

  • Advertising, TV & Film.

Experience in producing custom score for these verticals is a plus!

 

We are seeking a go getter with out of the box strategizing skills coupled with a natural ability for immaculate customer service. Tasks shall include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Catering to existing and new clients in Advertising, TV, Video Game Industry.
  • Creating new accounts and orchestrating new deals.
  • Music pitching to clients as needed.
  • Overseeing custom jobs including client communication/direction, composer creative direction.

 

Your Profile

Candidate should possess a working knowledge of production music. Communication will be one of your strongest skills and you must enjoy events planning and networking. Creativity is a key skill required to assist in catering to clients.

 

  • Minimum 2 years experience at a production music library.
  • Great verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ready built relationships within the relevant industry.
  • High school diploma or GED, business school/college credits preferred.
  • Is a dependable team player and possess the ability to multi-task.
  • Connect with other departments to foster open communication and department awareness.
