Your Mission at BMG

Your primary mission is to assist in all marketing functions for BMG artists on a global level. You will help gather assets, distribute information and communicate with our International affiliates on a daily basis. You will help the outbound international team streamline their processes and enhance their effectiveness.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintain SVP calendar and coordinate project conference calls with staff/managers, as needed.
  • Coordinate and draft correspondence and presentations using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Prepare business expense reports for SVP and department ghost card
  • Handle generation of POs and process invoices in a timely manner
  • Maintain lists/databases for the inbound marketing department.
  • Assist with organization of inbound team meetings and events including set-up, etc.
  • Coordinate inbound and domestic signing project releases and assist in artist procurement analysis
  • Distribute project related tools and assets to Canadian partners
  • Collect, analyze, research and distribute information including weekly domestic sales, streaming and chart information, DSP analytics & general album stats.
  • Daily management and upkeep of domestic one sheets.
  • Attend and participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions.

 

Your Profile

  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel & Powerpoint
  • Passionate about music!!
  • Profiency working with DSP tools and analytics
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with company executives and management.
  • A desire to work with and understand other cultures outside of the US
  • Attention to detail and willingness to complete all tasks that are given
  • Ability to work multiple projects with differling timelines

 

Must-Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Basic understanding of music marketing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
