Your Mission at BMG.

You’ll be supporting repertoire teams and supply chain teams with data analysis, dashboard building and ad-hoc reporting

 

Your Responsibilities.

  • Support BMG in its mission to deliver fair and transparent service to artists by empowering the teams across the business with self-service insight dashboards and ad-hoc reporting/analysis.
  • Work with Tableau, SQL, BigQuery and other tools to surface business insights in a user-friendly, engaging and meaningful fashion.
  • Communicate and consult with key business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and become their trusted partner for anything analytics.
  • Continuously improve current reporting and related processes across the business to allow faster delivery of insights at greater volume.

Your Profile.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 1-2 years of experience in reporting, analysis and visualization
  • Numerate, analytical and a problem solver
  • Good with communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be empathetic with stakeholders to truly understand their reporting needs
  • Strong organizational skills and uses of tools to manage priorities, workflow and provide updates
  • Microsoft Excel, SQL and Visualization tools Skills

 

Desirable (but not essential) Skills & Experience

  • Tableau, BigQuery, Jupyter and/or Python Skills
  • Use of project management tools
  • Understanding of statistical analysis techniques 
  • BA degree level or equivalent qualification
  • Interest in Music
