Your Mission at BMG

The label coordinator will oversee and help manage the workflow for all Rise Records’ releases. They will maintain the calendar and deadlines, insuring everything is on schedule and all departments are aware of timelines, needs, and are contributing to the project accordingly. Additionally the coordinator will act as a liaison between internal staff and various 3rd party contractors and the merch companies, managing the flow of information and assets to our webstore, and artist managers as needed.  This employee will interface with all staff – management, A&R, art department, product managers and international employees to ensure that all departments are functioning as they should be, in-line with deadlines and schedules.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Work with product managers, A&R, marketing and production to create schedules for releases.   
  • Maintain the release schedule and ensure all functions or contributors are on time, and address accordingly if there is a delay.
  • Collate assets and coordinate with internal staff (art, product managers, marketing), on pre-orders, webstores and launches and subsequently deliver cohesive, concise plans and assets to 3rd parties (such as merchnow, etc).
  • Develop strong professional working relationships with our various merchandise companies and apply critical thinking and ingenuity to help grow and develop that aspect of our business.
  • Ensure our webstore is optimal and up to date at all times.
  • Utilizing assets delivered from various departments, build and deliver pre-orders and merchandise items to our merchandise company
  • Assist A&R and Publishing departments with negotiating prices and booking studios for writing and recording sessions. Enter and open Purchase Orders for all vendors.
  • Coordinate stock transfers with production, artist managers, and webstore.
  • Monitor D2C store stock levels, send/cut out stock when needed
  • Maintain schedules for marketing partners (magazines/web) and coordinate with art and marketing departments
  • Coordinate with art and marketing department to ensure all assets are ready for release.
  • Update the internal release schedule based on real timelines, conversations with production, etc.
  • Interact with all departments on a regular basis to make sure we have a healthy workflow on all projects, inline with schedule



  • Candidate must be well organized, detail oriented, and able to multitask and constructively solve problems while working under pressure.
  • Great communication skills and an ability to self-manage time and schedules.
  • Proficient in excel.
