Job Description


  • Set up, operate, and maintain television production equipment and systems. 
  • Support live and recorded studio productions and outside broadcasts. 
  • Monitor video, audio and signal routing systems during production to ensure broadcast quality. 
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently to minimize operational disruptions. 
  • Perform preventive maintenance and routine system checks. 
  • Collaborate closely with producers, directors, operators, and engineering teams to ensure smooth production workflows. 
  • Assist with equipment configuration, testing, and commissioning. 
  • Maintain technical documentation and report equipment faults and corrective actions. 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of new technologies. 
  • Adhere to safety procedures and operational standards. 

Qualifications


  • Technical degree or equivalent qualification in Broadcast Engineering, Electronics, Media Technology, or a related field. 
  • Previous experience in television production, broadcast operations, or technical support is preferred. 
  • Knowledge of video, audio, and signal distribution systems. 
  • Familiarity with studio environments and live production workflows. 
  • Understanding of IP-based media systems and broadcast technologies is an advantage. 
  • Experience with troubleshooting and maintenance of broadcast equipment is desirable. 
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and special events when required. 
  • Desire to learn and evaluate new technologies, systems and workflows. 
  • Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English. French, German or Luxembourgish to be considered as an asset.
