Warehouse Supervisor


































Position Summary:

Supervises all production, kitting, assembly, order batching and fulfillment related activities of business unit(s).  If you are someone who welcomes a challenge, and a career in a growing international company this is the role for you! 



Overall Responsibilities:

  • Ensures daily open orders are issued to production floor and fulfillment/production activities are conducted according to established processes and procedures.
  • Ensures production schedules are established accordingly and met.
  • Ensures quality verification of finished product is conducted and recorded in accordance to the established Quality Management System.
  • Ensures order fill rate (OFR) goals are achieved daily.
  • Ensures that all issues related to failure of meeting OFR goals are researched and explained.
  • Assist with managing the attainment of the corresponding service level agreements (SLA), units per hour (UPH) and/or cost per unit (CPU) requirements established by management.
  • Confers with department supervisors/managers for resolution of production and quality problems.
  • Maintains workflow and ensures all material/warehousing activities are conducted according to established processes and procedures.
  • Reviews, maintains and/or establishes ongoing process improvements for respective areas of operations.
  • Supports the requests of other departments as needed.
  • Supervises assigned workforce of Arvato and temporary employees.



Job Requirements:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • General knowledge of production control, resource planning, production planning, scheduling, assembly operations, quality control, continuous improvements, employee motivation, labor variances, throughput, methods, and on-time delivery.
  • General mechanical ability to perform minor maintenance.
  • Knowledge and use of Warehousing Systems (SAP system a plus).
  • Proficiency in MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS- Outlook.
  • Effective communication/comprehension skills – verbal and written form.
  • Ability to work independently, resolve conflicts/issues and execute solutions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently and /affectively.
  • Solid mathematical skills and strong attention to detail.




  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3 to 4 years of experience within a production environment preferred but not required
  • Intermediate computer skills

  • Operate lift trucks and pallet jacks
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
