Front-end Developer

FRONT-END DEVELOPER

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer who is excited by the challenges that come from working at scale and is passionate about improving the reliability and uptime of the product they own.

General Responsibilities:

Contribute to the architecture and the design of components, testing strategy and deployments to the different environments
Have a hands-on role requiring both - production of design artefacts and coding of critical elements
Interface with the product owner, team members and other stakeholders
Take ownership of the team's deliverables, ensuring that the team produces high quality deliverables
Be a forward thinker and identify and remediate technical problems before they happen
Provide programming duties with an emphasis on the available requirements: development, planning, analysis and design, testing & acceptance phases of the application software
Verify source code with a testing strategy
Participation in design and code reviews

Job requirements:

3+ year(s) of relevant work experience in frontend development
Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6) and experience with a JavaScript framework such as React
Hands-on experience with HTML5, Sass and an understanding of UI/UX concepts
Favour the Atomic Design approach and code reusability
Excellent English language skills
High analytical skills, as well as a structured, solution-oriented and independent way of working
Friendly and cooperative personality

Good to have:

3+ years of relevant work experience in frontend development
Experience with React Hooks
Experience in application testing – Jest, enzyme
Proficiency in REST APIs
Experience with frontend tooling: Babel, Webpack, NPM, Yarn
Experience with TypeScript
Knowledge in backend tools – Docker and Kubernetes
WebSocket
