As the SAP S/4HANA Senior Presales Consultant, you will have an opportunity to work from first warm customer contact, through closure and project initiation. You should have a proven track record and special expertise selling business value for SAP S/4HANA with focus on Consumer Product industry and retail.



  • Architectural Consulting of our Customers to enable new digital business models
  • Prepare, setup, document and demonstrate out-of-the-box SAP S/4HANA customer demo’s based on SAP S/4HANA’s business process master list
  • Integrate our Best Practice toolkit into certain business process demonstrations to show additional value to prospects
  • excite our prospects about SAP S/4HANA and explain business value that comes with it
  • convince our prospects and clients why the time to move to SAP S/4HANA is now and not in three years
  • combine our SAP S/4HANA story with Ecommerce, for example
    • Market Places
    • Channel Advisor
    • Dropship
    • Order Management
    • Omni-Channel
    • Click and Collect
  • be able to explain on a technical level and carry the discussion into an enablement on a business level using the topics like
    • in memory technology
    • removal of batch processing
    • universal journal
    • simplification
    • new User Interface with Fiori / advantages of role based concepts
  • consult our clients about deployment methods and business value related to
    • on-premise
    • SAP’s Single Tenant Edition
    • Public Cloud, especially Microsoft Azure
    • SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud SaaS
  • be 100% present in video conferences and truly own meetings
  • analysis and explanation of readiness reports 1.0 and 2.0
  • explain and excite our clients about SAP S/4HANA Project Methodology ‘Activate’
  • lead phases ‘Discover’ and ‘Prepare’ for our clients
  • give our Sales Representatives the story and tools to enable them for successful first contact


Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years of presales experience with SAP S/4HANA / SAP ECC
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer product industry
  • 2+ years of experience with cloud deployment models
  • Strong focus on consulting
  • Ability to express technical advancements and translate into a business value discussion
  • Build trust and empathy with prospects and clients
  • Self-motivated, independent and leadership skills
  • Flexible and proven team player capable of delivering value in a start­up like environment
  • Proven Network in SAP S/4HANA community and SAP itself



  • will be limited at ~10% as we focus on virtual presales and delivery



  • Bachelor's Degree
