As the Cloud Platform Sales Representative, you will have an opportunity to work within the early portion of the sales cycle from identification through qualification. You should have a proven track record and special expertise selling IT Services with focus on eCommerce Products, and Cloud Projects (ex: MS Azure and AWS). We prefer candidates that are able to conduct a consultative sales approach. In this role, you have the ability to articulate and craft an implementation proposal with support from our presales experts. Demonstrating expert sales, organizational, business and professional skills, the Cloud Platform Sales Representative has primary responsibility for generating new opportunities by leveraging their network and building new contacts.


Lead Generation

  • Research and develops list of potential clients
  • Proactively identify, locate, and qualify new business leads
  • Diligently follow up on and develop sales leads
  • Establish and maintain industry and partner contacts
  • Represents Arvato at trade association meetings/events


  • Support the sales process
  • Act as a solutions expert consultant in helping clients with their unique and critical business issues and strategic initiatives. Successfully communicate the Arvato message and benefits of the solution
  • Focus on Arvato’s Services related to:
    • eCommerce consultancy, projects and support (based on standard platforms such as SAP Commerce Cloud)
    • Cloud consultancy and implementation projects based on MS Azure and AWS
    • Omnichannel  

Experience and Skills

  • 2+ years of experience developing new business: identifying and selling to customers’ needs
  • 2+ years of experience within enterprise IT services industry and lead generation
  • Ability to build consultative effectiveness and establish trust
  • Deep understanding of the business and technical contexts in which key accounts are situated
  • Self-motivated, independent and leadership skills
  • Strong technical, analytical and business attitude
  • Flexible and proven team player capable of delivering value in a start­up like environment
  • Network in the South and/or East Coast to promote Arvato’s IT Services Portfolio
