Responsibilities

Arvato Systems NA is seeking dynamic and entrepreneurial Sales Professional who will assume direct sales responsibility for Tier One Broadcast Accounts in the Eastern US and to engage regional resellers and SI’s on projects.  This position will directly report to the Vice President Sales of Arvato systems North America based in New York City.

The candidate will  join a growing and motivated North American Sales team that is focused on customer success and compelling growth for the company.  

 

Lead Generation

  • Proactively identifies, locates, and qualifies new business leads
  • Establishes and maintains industry and partner contacts
  • Represents Arvato at trade association meetings/events

 

Sales

  • Prepares high quality presentations, proposals, and documents
  • Manages the sales process from lead identification, qualification through close
  • Successfully communicates the Arvato message and benefits of the solution
  • Understanding of customer workflow requirements and ability to represents those needs to internal staff and partner vendors
  • Experience managing complex negotiations with Arvato technical, legal and management

 

Administration

  • Maintains current sales pipeline in contact management software
  • Creates Annual Sales Plan including Strategy and tactics to achieve goals.
  • Attends training and associated workshops to increase product knowledge and to stay abreast of company and partner products, services, and pricing as well as familiarity with competitor products and pricing​​

 

Your profile

  • Minimum 10 years professional experience in Sales
  • Minimum 5 years professional media experience selling broadcast solutions, IT, Media Asset Management solutions and implementation services
  • Proven success in selling Enterprise level applications as well as meeting and exceeding quotas
  • Extensive “C” level contacts in the Broadcast, Media & IT industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university
  • Regional travel in Eastern US as needed.
