Security Lead

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of Security Operations Center (SOC) analysts to ensure effective monitoring and response to security incidents.
• Collaborate with security peers and stakeholders from Germany, Latvia, and Malaysia to align security strategies and share best practices.
• Prepare and adapt Arvato security services to comply with the Network and Information Systems (NIS2) Directive.
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect company assets and data.
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
• Oversee incident response activities, including investigation, remediation, and reporting.
• Ensure the SOC team is trained and equipped with the latest security tools and techniques.
• Coordinate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of security measures across all systems.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging security threats, technologies, and regulatory changes.
• Lead and participate in security-related projects and initiatives to enhance the overall security posture of the organization.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external security vendors and service providers.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a security leadership role, preferably within a SOC environment.
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
• In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and incident response.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with international teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
• On-site office presence required if outside of Brașov, 4 days per month.
• German language proficiency is a significant advantage.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
