Network Security Specialist

Scope:

• Able to create, implement, maintain, and optimize firewall and Zscaler configurations based on the Arvato Systems Network Architecture and system design
• Able to implement, maintain and optimize network infrastructure in support of firewall and proxy requirements based on complex customer requirements and architecture standards
• Able to execute operational activities such as deployment, monitoring and incident management
• Provide technical consultation to the Customer/ Network Engineer and Project Manager for developing new systems or enhancing existing ones to support the business
• Work with team members to estimate timelines
• Work with Network Architects and Engineers to realize technical concept

Requirements:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in the planning and implementation of Firewalls and Web Proxy solution based on professional grade hardware
• Experience in Technical Troubleshooting and Monitoring and documentation tools
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as CheckMK or similar
• Good knowledge Firewall and Proxy implementation Tasks so that realistic deadlines can be defined and met
• Having good understanding Operation and Service Level Agreements
• Knowledge in the following technologies is an advantage: Juniper, Cisco, Fortinet and Zscaler technologies
• This job demand flexibility and willingness to work in dynamic environment with customer driven project. The candidates are expected to communicate with clients and colleagues in the EU regularly
• Ability to work under tight deadlines. Independent, self-discipline, self-organize, and able to learn and work under minimum supervision
