Infrastructure Consultant (healthcare)
Job Duties / Responsibilities:
As an Infrastructure Consultant (healthcare), you will play a key role in managing the IT infrastructure of our nationwide health telematics systems. This involves ensuring high availability, automating deployments, and supporting the migration of our environment into the cloud (Azure). You will be responsible for handling incidents, supporting project and migration initiatives, and ensuring that our infrastructure meets stringent Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Support & Administration:
- Support the operational management and administration of the nationwide health telematics infrastructure.
- Ensure the secure and highly available operation of IT systems and application landscapes.
- Serve as the point of contact for operational concerns, managing incidents, and implementing customer service requests.
- Automate and optimize deployment and integration processes within the application environment.
Project & Migration Support:
- Contribute to project and migration efforts, supporting product definition and test management.
- Assist in the planned migration of our infrastructure into the cloud (Azure), bringing cloud knowledge to the team.
System Optimization:
- Apply your expertise to daily operations, ensuring a sustainable and stable infrastructure.
- Collaborate with teams to improve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and service delivery.
- Mandatory technical skills (specific technologies, tools, frameworks, etc.):
Who We Are Looking For:
- You have a degree in (business) informatics or a comparable technical education.
- You have good knowledge and experience in system administration, particularly in Linux operating systems.
- You have broad IT knowledge, including network architectures and the functions of common IP protocols.
- You have experience with Microsoft products such as Active Directory/LDAP(S).
- Ideally, you are familiar with areas such as PKI/certificate management, DNS, web application firewalls (F5), and hardware security modules (HSM).
- You have experience generating reports with tools like Excel or other software, as well as scripting with languages such as Perl, Java, or XML.
- Experience with automation solutions like Ansible is a plus.
- Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure) is an advantage, as we plan to move our environment into the cloud.
- You possess very good English and German language skills
