Cloud Proxy Network Engineer

As an internationally active IT specialist, we are looking for you as a Cloud Proxy Engineer (m/f/d) to join Arvato Systems Romania, with the flexibility to in a hybrid setting.

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Proxy Engineer to join our international team responsible for managing and maintaining cloud proxy solutions. The role involves supporting advanced proxy technologies, working with a variety of clients predominantly in the energy and finance sectors, and ensuring secure and effective proxy management.

What tasks await you

• Handling daily service requests and incidents related to cloud proxy environments

• Managing and operating cloud proxy solutions, including Zscaler ZIA/ZPA and Skyhigh Cloud Proxy

• Performing regular software updates, security patches, and maintenance activities

• Actively participating in troubleshooting efforts to ensure reliable and secure proxy operations

• Involvement in ongoing projects for optimization, migration, and enhancement of proxy solutions

• Monitoring and resolving incoming service requests and incidents

• Providing technical support and collaborating directly with clients to resolve issues efficiently

• Managing configurations, updates, and changes in Zscaler and Skyhigh Proxy platforms

• Documentation of operational processes in alignment with ITIL standards

Who we are looking for

• At least 2-4 years hands-on experience with Zscaler (ZIA and ZPA) and Skyhigh proxy solutions

• Python scripting for automation and maintenance tasks (or similar)

• Previous professional experience within Managed Service Providers

• ITIL framework experience and familiarity with service management practices

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Collaborative and strong team spirit

• Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving abilities

• Reliable, responsible, and proactive

• Fluent English (both written and spoken) German is a considerable advantage
