Your tasks:

  • Champion Arvato processes; work with Product Owner, developers and other QA engineers in an agile environment to ensure all quality aspects of our cloud-based we applications with proper testing coverage and efficient testing solutions by on-time delivery and by adhering to development and quality standards. 
  • Help the team to investigate support tickets, identify requirements and support the team in resolving issues.
  • Define automation test plan, test strategy, test scope and test scenarios based on requirements.
  • Create and maintain test cases/scripts and execute various types of testing throughout the test life cycle according to the test plan; apply quality control on all different quality aspects of our web shops including functionality, performance, accessibility, security and usability.
  • Support defect fix testing, including reporting, tracing and troubleshooting defects in the defect tracking system.
  • Facilitate end-to-end testing by collaborating with other teams (SAP, middleware, business, customer etc.)
  • Participate in automation code review and automation script maintenance.
  • Triage and troubleshoot on issues found during testing, deployment and releases, and report test results.
  • Keep business and product knowledge centralized inhouse; provide process and technical guidance to external team members; review work of external team members/performance evaluation


Our requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience working in eCommerce business with additional IT background
  • Minimum of 5 year experience in software quality assurance and software development roles, ideally in e-commerce and/or web-applications
  • 3+ years’ experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • 5+ years’ experience of hands-on data intensive application testing
  • 3+ years’ independent coding experience with scripting languages as applied to testing automation (C# preferred but not limited to) is required. Demonstrates solid understanding of a variety of software engineering concepts, practices and procedures particularly object oriented design and development


Desired skills:

  • Solid knowledge of release management, SQL and test automation (e.g. Integration and UI) is required
  • Demonstrates proficiency with QA concepts, issues, methods, and tools and will provide expertise in the recommendation and execution of the software testing methods and strategy with minimum supervision
  • Demonstrates an understanding of variety of systems (e.g., Windows, C#/.NET environment, Microsoft Azure data warehouse, BizTalk, ERP, SQL Server and/or other platforms and technologies)
  • Exceptional focus on detail with respect to documentation and excellent in communication
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Team services, VSTS, JIRA, TestRail or other Scrum tools
  • ISTQB/CSQE certificates are an advantage
