Your tasks

  • Champion Arvato processes; work with PO, developers and other QA engineers in an agile environment to ensure all quality aspects of our cloud based web applications with proper testing coverage and efficient testing solutions by on-time delivery and by adhering to development and quality standards.
  • Define automation test plan, test strategy test scope and test scenarios basing on requirements.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining automated test scenarios and frameworks.
  • Support defect fix testing, including reporting, tracing and troubleshooting defects in the defect tracking system.
  • Perform automation code review and technical support to the development team.
  • Triage and troubleshoot on issues found during testing, deployment and releases, and report test results.
  • Keep business and product knowledge centralized in house; provide process and technical guidance to external team members; review work of external team members / performance evaluation.

Our requirements

  • BS in information technology, engineering or a related degree
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience is required in software testing and/or development, completing several major projects with multiple release cycles
  • 2+ years’ experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Solid experience with release management, SQL and test automation (e.g. Integration and UI) is required
  • Solid experience with Selenium tool
  • Strong experience with scripting languages as applied to testing automation is required. Demonstrates understanding of a variety of software engineering concepts, practices and procedures particularly object oriented design and development
  • Must possess analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience working as part of an Agile team
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paces environment with minimum supervision, meeting high quality deliverables on time.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good experience in web technologies
  • Be self-motivated, willing to learn new concepts, technologies, and produce quickly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, writing, and communication skills, as well as a dedication to quality software.
  • Certificates are an advantage (ASQ/CSQE or ISQI/ISTQB)
