Junior Inventory Manager

Position Summary:

Arvato is searching for a Junior Inventory Control Manager to grow with us at our warehouse in Pleasant Prairie, WI. This position will be responsible for managing the team tasked with ensuring all inventory adjustments, inventory relatied operations service issues, other financial issues, and receiving discrepancies are researched and reconciled to maintain the highest level of inventory accuracy within an Arvato distribution center.

 

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • You will lead and manage a team of inventory control team members, and perform all Arvato supervisory functions.
  • Manages completion of Daily Material Movement Exception Report and Goods Over report daily and reports disposition to branch and loss prevention. 
  • Manage completion of all assigned error queues.
  • Report on problem ticket trends and issues.
  • Report on overall service failures and customer complaint
  • Assign errors to warehouse team members as needed for non-compliance with operations sop
  • Operate MHE as necessary

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree in warehousing, supply chain management or related field or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in inventory control position
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity
  • SAP experience
  • Certified to train on powered industrial equipment such as; forklift, reach, order picker, turret, and clamp truck

 

Preferred Requirements & Key Traits:

  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be diligent, multi-task oriented, and organized
  • Strong administrative, mathematical & analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage people, processes, and technology
