Business Analyst - Wave Planning

Position Summary: 

Plans and manages the distribution schedule and work queues to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize capacity. Ensures all stock and orders are available for production.   

 

Overall Responsibilities:  

  • Set priorities and communicate needs to all areas of from inbound to shipping 

  • Interface with manufacturing / Planners personnel on material status and production planning issues 

  • Communicate any issues that would prevent on time delivery to Planning Management and Account Reps 

  • Coordinates product flow and movement for same day ship from inbound, production, to shipping to ensure on time delivery     

  • Assist in Managing and Monitoring of all auto drops. Ensure exceptions are addressed when orders are held in suspense 

  • Assist running all other distribution orders, off hours and as a back-up    

  • Assist in forecast planning up to 3 days out, use historical data when needed 

  • Run forward deployment opportunities for all clients and release labels  

  • Controls launch load plan and maintain updates to the execution spread sheet after final approval and review with transportation  

  • Assist in monitoring replenishment on daily and weekly bases  

  • Other duties as assigned 

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

  • SAP experience a plus 

  • Must possess solid analytical skills in forecasting 

  • Ability to problems solve and deal with a variety of changing situations under stress 

  • Strong knowledge in SAP and related WMS  

  • 5 years in warehouse working environment 

 

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma 

  • Some college or equivalent and/or relevant experience 

 

Physical Demands & Work Environment:   

  • Must be able to lift/push./pull up to 50 lbs. 

  • Able to stand/walk for long periods of time 

  • Ability to operate Forklift and walkee rider 

  • Light manufacturing facility 

  • Noise from working in a production area

  • Process personal data, client data and employer business specific data in accordance of Personal Data Protection Act, in compliance with the CCA and in accordance with employer´s Work Procedure Rules, IT and Data Protection and other guidelines provided by employer;
