Position Summary: 

Arvato Supply Chain solutions is hiring a self-motivated and entrepreneurial-minded Sales & Business Development Professional to join our growing Healthcare team. 

 

In this role, you will be able to leverage your exceptional communication and team skills to generate and acquire new business with new accounts and selected existing accounts. In addition, you will provide support to the regional and global sales teams in expanding sales in Europe and wit primary focus on the US in the Healthcare industry. This role will focus on providing integrated order-2-cash distribution models and field inventory solutions for medical devices and diagnostics manufacturers, including warehousing, end-customer distribution, customer service, financial, stock consignment,/VMI and value added services. 

 

This ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of logistics, warehousing, fulfillment and order-to-cash supply chain management (SGM), detailed knowledge of the target industries (Healthcare - Medical Devices and Diagnostics)and an active network to key decision makers. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Generate and follow-up in a self-sustainable manner new business in target markets with primary focus on value added logistics, warehousing, end-customer (mainly hospitals, labs, etc.) distribution, field inventory / consignment stock services and end-to-end supply chain solutions.
  • Work with Business Development, Marketing, Solution Design and Logistics Engineering on creation of competitive concept proposals and develop new service offerings based on detailed and documented insight of market and client needs.
  • Manage and maintain a structured analysis of target markets & clients providing regular documentation in a CRM system (SOUL). Particularly focus on selected large target accounts, manage and maintain detailed global account plans and coordinate international sales activities (between EU & US). 
  • Provide market intelligence and feedback to the Global and Regional teams on markets & industry developments and competitors' developments. 
  • Identify, analyze and compare alternative opportunities for entering new markets and adapting new technologies and present feasibility plans Management. 
  • Orchestrate the complete opportunity journey, from origination company introductions, all steps in the proposal bidding steps, up to driving towards operational viable the contract closure. 
  • Maintain active connection with target client base, managing a periodic dialogue with supply chain / logistics business leaders as well as with sourcing / procurement directors.  

 

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years of experience in solution selling & new business development in the logistics / supply chain management industry.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Medical Devices or Pharmaceutical businesses, both in Sales and Bids procedures and requirements.
  • Strong business acumen and networking skills. 
  • English: fluent and other language from assigned territory is an asset. 
  • Bachelor's degree required, with specialized qualifications Supply Chain management, Commercial or Medical related disciplines is strongly preferred.
