Position Summary:
Leading client engagement to understand technical requirements, process design and implementation of new solutions as well as managing and improving existing processes and solutions.

Work with clients technical and supply chain teams to understand existing and potential technical services offerings required to meet clients’ needs. Lead developing of processes and systems to manage complex technical appliance integration, data centre returned component/appliance management, segregation, testing and dispositioning including built in controls and checks to ensure right first time results to customer involved in fast paced industry.

 

Jos Responsibilities:

Technical team working on appliance provisioning, rack integration activity, management and segregation of equipment returned from data centres and related customer reporting requirements within agreed SLA’s.

Oversight and delegation of project scopes and objectives, communication, task resource availability management, change and risk management, project performance tracking, ensuring team managed projects are completed to high standards of quality, on time, within scope and budget.

Assist with project tracking/reporting/metrics structure. 

Work with the technical services & other teams to develop technical solutions, plan and coordinate daily operations and longer term project efforts.

 

Capabilities:

Ability to build relationships with client and internal teams, ability to strategically review internal capabilities and understand existing or potential competitive advantages. Identify capabilities required to meet potential or future client needs. Help create and evolve technical services value proposition*. Experience working with face paced client and ability to clearly define scope and process deliverables. Manage change in fast moving environment. Lead team in building process and controls to ensure projects delivered on time and right first time.

 

Requirements/Experience:

Data centre support technical services experience or similar

Reverse logistics experience

Rack and appliance integration services
