Operations Manager - Reverse Logistics

Position Summary:

Arvato is hiring an Operations Manager. In this role you will mentor and motivate a team of technical staff to deliver timely and high-quality services to our customers.  We are looking for an experienced operations leader to join our team as an Operations Manager.  In this role you will have the responsibility for the end-to-end operations in High Tech area of our distribution center in Louisville, KY.  This includes driving continuous improvement in all areas of operation as well as monitoring and adjusting processes as needed to meet production schedules, due dates, priorities, shipping requirements and volume peaks.  Your goal will be to provide the highest quality service for our customers by establishing best-in-class processes while maintaining optimal cost structures. The Operations Manager provides hands-on training to technical staff to ensure a competent and effective workforce. You will also develop policies and strategies effective for the timely resolution of technical or procedural issues.


Minimum Job Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in the operational supply chain, warehouse management or distribution.
  • 3-5 years’ experience managing a team.
  • Bachelors Degree 


Preferred Requirements:


  • BA/BS in computer science, engineering or related discipline.
  • 2+ years experience with the reconfiguration of devices.
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft systems and hardware products.
  • Experience using SAP
  • Certifications from recognized bodies such as Microsoft (MCSA Windows 10/MCSA Windows Server).
  • Knowledge of scripting in Windows Batch, PowerShell or Linux Shell scripting.
  • Practiced mind-set and good analytical skills in conducting analysis to identify and resolve technical and procedural problems.
  • Experience with iAuditor, Blancco and White Canyon.
