Education Experience: Training (e.g. IT specialist, BPM) or studies in the area of economics, (Business) Information Technology

Professional Knowledge:

• User expertise in Microsoft Office products.

• Very good SAP development skills (mainly ABAP/4, ABAP 00, interfaces to Interactive Forms, function block design and implementation, document layout).

• Ideally detailed knowledge of Arvato’s processes and system landscape concerning document and output management as well as internal communication (e.g. SharePoint).

• Very good knowledge of current OMS products.

• Very good project management skills (e.g. Prince2, Scrum, etc.).

• Knowledge of methods for ITIL and DevOps in theory and the required experience.

• Highly pronounced cost awareness.

• Very good presentation and communication skills.

• Very good analytical thinking.

• Knowledge in one of the products: Smartforms/SAPscript/Adobe Forms.

• Experience with SAP modules SD/WM.

Industry knowledge and customer focus:

• Knowledge of the specific nature of the business and the portfolio of services of the Business Units, and incorporating this knowledge into expertise.

• Recognizing current trends.

• Recognizing and creating customer needs (e.g. product details) as part of existing customer relations.

Work Experience

Ideally two years in a relevant IT environment.

Main tasks:

• Independently planning, implementing and supervising projects with consideration of priorities and requirements.

• Engaging in specialist communication with customers in German and English.

• Supervising, approving, defining, distributing and verifying work packages.

• Actively developing proposals for optimizing existing processes and structures.

• Monitoring the market for solutions and offers in their area of expertise.

• Development and IT implementation of expertise – together with departments – in consideration of the overall architecture and strategic goals.

• Analyzing and evaluating market products as parts of a solution, communicating with suppliers.

• Preparing specifications for additionally purchased solutions.

• Consulting and coaching for departments in the area of IT-related matters and problems.

• Documenting relevant processes.

• Delivering relevant key figures for reporting.

• Ensuring quality of elementary processes.

• Developing and implementing training concepts for team members.

• Actively developing their own expertise.

• Inducting/coaching inexperienced colleagues, in particular Juniors and Specialists.

• High willingness to travel.

Interaction/communication:

• Providing advice on and shaping specialist topics with various units.

• Discussing specialist topics in cross-departmental working groups.

• Coordinating and providing advice on organizational topics and questions.

Complexity:

• Autonomously dealing with typically complex and challenging operational and conceptual problems (also new ones) which require innovative thinking and for which new solutions are developed.

• Professional guidance and assistance for less experienced colleagues.
