What will you do as a Technical Service Engineer at Arvato?
As a Technical Service Engineer, you play a crucial role in the logistics process, our core business. Alongside your colleagues from the Technical Service, you ensure that all machines and systems in the warehouse remain operational. This involves troubleshooting and performing preventive & corrective maintenance, covering both mechanical and electronic aspects. Additionally, you train operational colleagues in machine operation, system management, and handling first-line issues. When necessary, you guide technicians from our suppliers and oversee compliance with company and safety regulations.

In collaboration with your colleagues, you are responsible for the well-being of the warehouse in Heijen. The Technical Service team consists of 11 direct colleagues in Heijen and 3 colleagues at other locations.

What do you bring as a Technical Service Engineer?
You excel at independently conducting fault analyses and resolving them promptly. As a technician, you possess strong communication skills and can effectively translate technical matters. You professionally advise the operation and our customers on defects and subsequent procedures.

Your qualifications:

• Vocational education level (MBO). Preferably demonstrated through the completion of a vocational education program in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

• You are a technical all-rounder with a preference for warehouse management/production systems.

• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in mechanical and electronic techniques.

• Proven track record in the installation or service field.

• Proficiency in Dutch and/or English, both spoken and written.

• Full-time availability (40 hours per week) and flexibility for on-call duties.
