Arvato has an exciting opportunity for you to grow your career as a Logistics Engineer within a leading international logistics service provider for various end-customer-oriented industries.

This is where you bring your added value to the table by setting up and managing logistic concepts. Within this position your contribution is highly valued and you will set the standards for our successful and futureproof journey with our customers. You will be end-to-end responsible for the success of your project.

The role calls for an ability to initiate solutions, develop and maintain relationships at all levels for you to become a trusted technical solutions advisor for our customers. You have the empathy and strong technical ability to listen to and fully comprehend complex customer needs and to use a partnering style to professionally advise them, the team and management on the best logistic solutions to achieve an optimal supply chain flow and reduce costs. You will work closely together with your team of talented Engineers, internal stakeholders and suppliers. You will report to our the Manager Automation & Implementation.

Furthermore you are responsible for
•    Create an understanding of customer needs and gather relevant data/market insights;
•    Work closely with stakeholders to determine priorities, roadmap (project plan);
•    Apply scientific and mathematical engineering principles to build a more efficient infrastructure;
•    Make the translation between customer needs, warehouse operations and processes;
•    Continuously monitor the market to identify new opportunities and gain competitive advantages.

What you will bring to the table
You are at a stage in your career where you have a strong desire to further develop your existing experience, abilities and skill set in a dynamic and high tech environment. The following are some of the key skills, attributes and experience that we would like to see:

•    Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Logistics, (Technical) Business Administration or Engineering;
•    Self-driven, with a measured persistence based on a hunger to succeed and grow with the your team and the customer;
•    Strong communication skills: you are passionate about simplifying complex technical solutions for our internal and external stakeholders;
•    Interpersonal intelligence: In addition to solid communication skills, it is also of importance to possess excellent interpersonal skills to effectively inspire and lead the people you work with. From customers to stakeholders, you get others on board with your innovative vision;
•    Project Manager by heart; you are a highly organized go-getter with proven ability to manage competing projects with tight deadlines effectively;
•    You know your way through the systems (Excel, SAP, AutoCAD & PowerBI);
•    Ability to communicate in English language (written and oral), Dutch would be beneficial.

What we offer
We offer you a challenging and independent full-time position, for 40 hours a week. We have a non-contributory pension, which means that on average you have a higher net salary compared to other companies! In addition, we offer:
