Facility Coordinator

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Facility Coordinator to join our team at Arvato. As a Facility Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, including hard services like maintenance and soft services such as catering and janitorial services. You will work closely with your team to ensure that our facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained.

Who will be your colleagues?
You will become part of Lisa de Kleijne's national Operations Excellence team. Lisa's team is an enthusiastic and ambitious team. The facility team consists of 4 direct colleagues. Together, you are responsible for more than 200,000m3 of warehouse space, how cool it that!?


What you will do as a Facility Coordinator at Arvato?
As a Facility Coordinator, you will provide efficient and effective services for all operational facilities in Limburg. Arvato is ambitious and strongly growing. Therefore, your role as a Facility Coordinator is essential in proactively managing growth. This includes organizing workstations, meeting rooms, catering, cleaning, parking, work instructions, and continuously improving internal service delivery. In your role, you will have multiple stakeholders, so experience with stakeholder management is desired. Currently, Arvato is expanding in Heijen and we are building a new modules. This means that you will also work on various new construction projects in addition to projects on existing sites.


Summary of responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring if facility processes (both internal and external) are carried out as documented in the procedures. Monitoring and ensuring improvement of these processes when necessary.
  • Initiating and executing projects, including creating project plans and approaches and providing substantive guidance during project execution.

  • Maintaining contact with external parties.

  • You provide communication to the operation regarding planned work.


  • Vocational + or Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related field
  • Few years of experience in facilities management or a related field
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other facilities management software
