Are you full-time available as an Assistant Supervisor and would you like to participate in the implementation of a new customer with the latest innovative solutions in the supply chain? 

For a customer implementation we’re looking for multiple Assistant Supervisors to complete the team for different departments, for example inbound, outbound and VAS. Together with the other Assistant Supervisors and the Warehouse Supervisors you are responsible for our brand new (high tech) warehouse. You know better than anyone how to build and motivate a team. As it concerns an implementation, you can completely redesign the organization together with your team, how cool is that?! 

What will you do as a Assistant Supervisor at Arvato?
As Assistant Supervisor, you are operationally responsible for managing your team (20-25 employees). You are the point of contact on the floor and there to empower your employees. You divide and coordinate the activities on a daily basis, with the aim of effectively carrying out all the work in the warehouse. Together with the Supervisor, you schedule staff at the place where the employee can do his best work.

Main activities:  

• You encourage the team with positive energy;
• Coordinating the daily activities;
• Scheduling with staff;
• Monitoring quality (including compliance with work instructions and procedures, both operational and focused on aspects of quality, health, environment and safety);
• Providing input to Supervisor for the planning, progress and assessment interviews;
• Participating in improvement projects.

Qualifications you bring with you as an Assistant Supervisor
You enjoy standing in front of a group and you convey your message in a clear and motivating way. Training and coaching employees is a second nature to you and you radiate energy. You always remain alert to the process, you initiate improvement opportunities and you are happy to commit to innovative projects. Furthermore you: 

• Have experience with managing a small group of people;
• Preferably already have some experience with either production or logistics;
• You have experience working with an ERP package preferably in SAP (Pre);
• You are able to replace the supervisor during absences;
• You speak and write fluent English.
