This role will be located in Seattle, WA - For Arvato Financial Solutions, USA


This role will commence as soon as possible in either March or April.

The ideal candidate would be a concurrently enrolled student that could commit to at least 24 hours a week for 3 months or a new graduate looking for a FT internship.


The Intern supports the local leadership team with the development, evaluation, and implementation of strategic initiatives. Tasks will vary and can be related to market analysis, preparation of presentations, business case modeling or project management. This position offers tremendous opportunity for growth in an international start-up like environment and exposure to senior management.

Job Duties:

  • Identify and research trends and competitive landscape in the financial services industry
  • Apply critical thinking skills and business acumen to provide recommendations for management
  • Support business units and client teams with conceptual business development
  • Possibly assist in M&A activities and all relevant aspects of a deal, including sourcing and screening, financial modeling, due diligence, and closing & integration activities
  • Help drive Senior Leadership Team decisions and interface with cross-functional teams
  • Scope of role is varied and complex and requires independent judgment


Essential Qualifications, Training, and Experience:

  • Strong academic performance in a degree related to  Business, Economics or Finance
  • Interest in startup culture and financial services
  • High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proactive and action-oriented and results driven with strong business judgment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including editing, proofreading, and speaking.


Desirable Qualifications, Training, and Experience:

  • Previous relevant experience/internships including corporate development, investment banking, private equity or venture capital a plus
  • Undergraduate degree completed
  • Experience in the financial service industry (i.e. payments, lending, billing, collections) an asset but not required
