The IT Infrastructure and Service Management Lead at our O2C (order to cash) business unit ensures an effective IT infrastructure and service management across our platforms. He/she sets the strategic service management and infrastructure direction together with the Enterprise Architect and technical platform leads. This direction is continuously translated into to a push of our on-premise solution into a harmonized cloud infrastructure that will allow for a streamlined and seamless service management.


An important area of responsibility is the further harmonization of our service management processes and IT infrastructure that stretches across self-managed as well platforms that are managed by internal and external partners.


In this role you will drive the service management and IT infrastructure cohesion across all financial solutions platforms in the O2C space. You will make sure that our self-developed and external partner platforms are orchestrated seamlessly. You will further care for the "shared economy" of the organization, the use of standard practices and tools, optimal use of the infrastructure and cost efficiency.


What will be the challenge?

As IT Infrastructure and Service Management Lead you are responsible to orchestrate different platform components into one seamless solution for our customers. You also contribute to the further internationalization of the O2C area. You set and share the following goals with the team:


  • Leading the service management and infrastructure area
  • Manage teams under direct supervision as well as in a distributed approach
  • Inclusion of internal and external partners in the infrastructure and service mix
  • Close collaboration with Enterprise architecture, technical platform leads and product teams
  • Collaboration with other AFS Business Units within the infrastructure and service management area
  • Implementation of the architectural vision and a roadmap
  • Manage the infrastructure run
  • Responsibility for problem, incident and change management processes
  • Cost control and KPI driven development
  • Business continuity management



A great IT Infrastructure and Service Management Lead shall:


  • Have a degree in IT or a related field
  • Have extensive leadership experience in the technology field
  • Be motivated, collaborative and thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Be able and comfortable delegating the implementation and control the process indirectly
  • Be interested in policymaking, governance, service management, IT security, finance, and more
  • Be adept at continuous delivery and passionate about agile practices Cloud knowledge
  • Have excellent technical, analytical, project management skills; also strong leadership, communication, motivation, and interpersonal skills, and is also fluent in English
  • German language proficiencies is an added bonus
